creepy (adj)爬行/异样
strange or unnatural and making you feel frightened

pesky  (adj)讨厌
annoying or causing trouble

inevitable (adj) 不可避免
certain to happen and unable to be avoided or prevented

clear; easy to see, recognize or understand

providing support or help; additional; extra

ultimate (adj) 最终
most extreme or important because either the original or final, or the best or worst
--Of course the ultimate responsibility for the present conflict without doubt lies with the aggressor.

periphery (n) 周边
the outer edge of an area
--Houses have been built on the periphery of the factory site.
--The ring road runs around the periphery of the city centre.

misty(adj)蒙蒙
In misty weather, there is mist in the air which makes it difficult to see into the distance

irrational  (adj)不合理的
not using reason or clear thinking

schmaltz (n)

awkward (adj)尴尬

rant (v) 咆哮
to speak or shout in a loud, uncontrolled or angry way, often saying confused or silly things
--He's always ranting (on) about the government.
--I get fed up with my mother ranting and raving (about my clothes) all the time.

restricted  (adj)限制
limited, especially by official rules, laws, etc
--Building in this area of town is restricted.

*describes an area which you need official permission to enter because the police or the armed forces want to keep it secret, or because it is considered dangerous
Wellington Barracks is a restricted area and anyone who enters should have identification.
